How things are now

My niece has gone down south to the family cottage with my father a Charlie for a few days to help her settle down abit, she has been very brave all day today and yesterday evening given her daddy was buried yesterday,we are so proud at how shes holding up.
She said she wanted a few days away to help her get some peace and be by herself for a wee while to just take in the last week which we all feel is the best thing for her

Things here are a litlle calmer now thankfully

While im here I just want again to say thank you to all my friends on here, you have been my rock this last few days, you guys have no idea how supportive you have been for me,thank you.

I wish there was more we could do for you, Yvonne. Your niece is taking time for herself. I hope you are looking after yourself, too.

It's important to take the time to reflect on your relationship with someone when you loose them.

My father past away this past August, I now find myself day dreaming about all the little things we shared.

Making omelets on Sunday morning, going for nature hikes, him teaching me how to sail...

I'm almost to the point where I can talk about him with my voice cracking and tears streaming... almost... more kleenex...

Later Darling ~ Kathleen
