I mean as far as helping others goes its something I love to do but thats abit much,I mean,WTF!!!!

I don't know Yvonne but there are scams everywhere. See if you can block the e-mailer from future e-mails and then delete the message. Have your anti-virus program check your computer also to be extra careful.

Once in awhile I get a request for large amounts of money to be invested in someone's business in a foreign country. Pathetic and illegal! Ignore anything like that, Yvonne. Delete any message asking for money or for help. They're all bogus/fraudulent!

How can people sleep at night doing this??? xoxox

Yeah, I wouldn't trust that at all. There are all kinds of scams like that going around, so be very careful who you decide to give your money to.

I wouldn't give them money,I just felt annoyed becase it felt like a nasty thing to do to someone.xoxoxo

I agree, it is a nasty thing to do. Not to mention a waste of your time.

I get those sometimes. I especially love the ones saying how they need an American bank account number to put their millions in because they're being discriminated against in their own country! And then they'll give you like 20% of their money...yeah okay.

Oh yeah. I used to get them all the time. It's sad, but there are people who actually fall for such scams. I just shake my head at the audaciousness of it and delete the email. Like they say, there's a sucker born every minute.

You need to use different email accounts per types of correspondence...

I have one for school, one for qaf, one for friends and family and the most important one. The one for internet applications, purchases, and general junk email...

After all most email accounts are free... ~ K

I always just delete those i am so afraid that they are viruses or Trogan's since i got one from opening up an e-mail from UPS saying they had my package to click to find out where to pick it up. I never would have opened that had i not ordered something about 2 weeks before that.
Yvonne Reidyvonnereid on 9th January 2010 21:20 (UTC)
Thats strange, around July time (when ljrs went to New york)I had ordered a mug from it and got an email saying I had to click on something to sign for a parcel but something happened b4 I did that shut my computer off and the email got lost, but still it was wierd.
